Ealing Council seeks proposals to operate 98 Churchfield Road, Acton

Ealing Council is inviting proposals from organisations interested in operating 98 Churchfield Road, Acton, as a space that supports enterprise, creativity and community benefit.

The property was refurbished through the council’s Workspace for Business programme, which aimed to bring vacant commercial space back into productive use while supporting entrepreneurs, small businesses and local economic growth.

The unit was previously occupied by a social enterprise which used the space to support entrepreneurs and local business owners through repair and upcycling activities, workshops, and opportunities to showcase and sell products.

We are now seeking proposals from organisations that can deliver a sustainable and impactful offer from the property. This could include activities such as:

  1. Affordable workspace for entrepreneurs, creatives or small businesses
  2. Business support and enterprise development programmes
  3. Creative and cultural activities
  4. Community-focused projects and events
  5. Skills, training and employment initiatives
  6. Social enterprise activity
  7. Other innovative proposals that deliver positive economic and social outcomes for the local community

We welcome interest from charities, community organisations, social enterprises, cultural organisations, workspace providers and other organisations with relevant experience.
