Ealing’s Economy after 6pm

We are preparing Ealing’s economy after 6pm strategy to make the borough a more prosperous and inclusive place to live, work, visit and run a business after 6pm. Earlier this year, thousands of local residents and businesses shared their ideas for this strategy which is due to be adopted in Autumn 2024.

EALING’S JOBS & SKILLS STRATEGY 2024-29

The jobs and skills strategy aims to cement the borough’s status as the £11billion commercial engine of west London. Although the plan sets out support for the sectors that already provide the largest number of jobs, like high street retail, health and social care, and construction, it also introduces a new focus on 3 priority sectors which, if the right conditions are created, are likely to see the highest growth in the near future:

  • creative and digital
  • green and circular economy
  • life sciences

Ealing Council has published a cultural manifesto and 2023-2028 action plan. The aim of the cultural manifesto is to create direction, focus and purpose for culture in Ealing.

The cabinet, the council’s main decision-making body, will help drive forward the priorities and make sure that our services are meeting our residents’ needs.

The council’s corporate plan shows how the council’s three priorities will be worked towards, and measured, over the next four years.
